Team Fortress 2 releases its final comic issue

The final issue of the Team Fortress 2 comic is out now, concluding the story of The Administrator, Miss Pauling, and the rest of the Team Fortress mercenaries.

Team Fortress 2 has been chugging along since 2007 and has been one of Valve’s most popular games. Its dedicated fanbase has allowed it to persist for these past 17 years, but now it seems things are beginning to wind down.

While the game still receives irregular updates in the form of bugfixes or a bit of maps and cosmetics here and there, the new comic was wholly unexpected; or as Valve themselves put it, “A Smissmas Miracle”.

We don’t want to give too much away, so give it a read for yourself here. You can also check out the earlier issues.

It’s a bit too soon to speculate on if this means anything for the Team Fortress franchise, but in our opinion it’s too big and too iconic for Valve to abandon.

Team Fortress 2 is available for Microsoft Windows, and can be downloaded for free on Steam.
