Yeah, it definitely feels like something that may have gotten scrapped, loads of potential for having the story change depending on your chosen character, but I assume it’s also a lot of work.

I was slightly disappointed on the character select screen when it said the story didn’t change when you changed the protagonists, something very different from games I’ve played before like Trials of Mana, and I think it’s a darn shame because it can add replayability in a fun way.
